Health Care Risk Report

The library has taken out a subscription to Health Care Risk Report. The journal focuses on patient safety, clinical and non-clinical risk.

The current issue, which is now available in the library, contains an article on the steps which NHS Western Cheshire are using to manage risk within the organisation.

New England Journal of Medicine on YouTube

New England Journal of Medicine has established a YouTube channel, where they will be posting videos including Perspective Roundtables, procedural and clinical videos. Several videos are already available on the site, and more will be made available throughout December.

Freedom of Information Journal

November’s issue of the Freedom of Information Journal is now available for NHS Western Cheshire and Community Care Western Cheshire staff to view over the extranet.

This issue contains stories about Freedom of Information exemptions, confidentiality, the Information Commissioner and animal experiements.

Drug and Therapeutics Bulletin

Drug and Therapeutics bulletin contains articles of interest to groups including pharmacists, medicines managers and GPs, such as the recent investigation into aspirin as a preventative measure against stroke and cardiovascular disease.
